Creator of Brain Age Turns Down 22 Mil

...I guess the world isn't full of greedy people.

The creator of the brain age series, Professor Ryuta Kawashima, turned down his Royalties check for 22 million dollars(thats 2.4billion Yen). Ryuta is content to live off of his annual salary of 11 million yen (100,000 dollars). When asked if he considered taking the money and moving to a tropical paradise he replied,"I wouldn't know what to do there. If I had such time to spare, I want to do my research."

Since Brain Age's release in japan in may 2005 the game has sold 17 million units(it prints money), and thats only for the DS.

If I were him I'd take the money and do something awesome with it...like... build a pool full of pudding...or...pay Tay Zonday to never sing again...

Sigh...One can dream...

I myself own both BA1 and BA2 which I enjoy thoroughly. The fact that he didn't take the large amount of moolah makes him a very respectable person in my eyes. Good post.

Feel free to stop using the "It prints money" joke whenever you want.

I don't think that it's a joke anymore, but more a statement of reality in a humorous way.
