Juno as a video game?

Yes, you read the title right, Juno is getting a freaking game.

For those of you who don't know,(the cave dwellers), Juno is a romantic comedy starring Arrested Development's Micheal Cera and Jason Bateman. It's been Nominated for 4 Oscars and apparently did pretty well in the box office.

Yesterday, at the D.I.C.E. summit in Las Vegas, the intellectual-property migration specialist, Keith Boesky was quoted saying "People are making a game based on Juno just to cater to the [casual] market."

...Sigh...

I really hope they are kidding about this game. To be honest, I've never heard of such a bad idea for a game before. I just don't understand why Hollywood feels that it needs a video game for every "blockbuster" movie. The only people who buy movie games are clueless parents and fans of the movie expecting a quality re-creation for them to play through. Surely there can't be that much of them buying these games to make them profitable for the studios.

Take Beowulf for example, excellent movie, but gave birth to a shitty game. The average review for the game is 4.6 and guess what? It sells for 20 dollars...new(No seriously check it out).

What the eff. This is retarded. I agree. Not every blockbuster movie needs a game and this one is prolly gonna be bad.

Agreed....The only kind of gameplay I can think of for this would be like...........a driving mission or something.
