Rock Band Hits the Wii With Five Bonus Songs

Are you ready to rock!?! No? Well....Wii are! That's right everyone, Rock Band, the Guitar Hero game on steroids, is finally making it's way to the Nintendo Wii on a scheduled release of June 22nd.

The game will be shipped as a Special Edition bundle containing all of the necessary peripherals (microphone, guitar, drums, and of course, the game) with 63 built in songs, while five of those songs are special for just the Wii edition.

There are no plans for downloadable content as of yet, much like the Ps2 version, but hopefully Harmonix will try and make our dreams a reality and add the Wii into the weekly mix of new content.

As always the full press release is after the break.
